# Credits

> Understand how credits work and what actions cost

Credits are the currency for premium actions in the Reel25 API. Your workspace receives credits monthly based on your plan.

## Tips for optimizing credit usage

* **Bulk track** videos (up to 25 at once) instead of one-by-one — tracking is free either way, but bulk is faster
* **Check if analysis exists** before triggering — `GET /video-analysis/{videoId}` is free, only `POST .../analyze` costs credits
* **Use Content Radar wisely** — write detailed, specific queries for better results. A good query saves you from running multiple searches
* **Monitor your balance** programmatically with `GET /credits` to avoid running out mid-workflow
